Slight Twist’s magic comes from the power of honest ingredients. each cocktail is craft-brewed with real fruit and spices.
Founders Ali and George couldn’t find a drink out there that didn’t involve compromise. With the firm belief that better-for-you should taste better, they decided to brew their cocktails, sidestepping the use of distilled spirits.
We created a brand based on the principle: Brewed to Be Better. ‘Better-for-you’ should mean better tasting too. We created a deliciously colourful brand that puts flavour first in a market obsessed with health-benefits.
Slight Twist founders spotted a gap in the Kiwi market: by being craft-brewed, they are able to be sold in grocery, unlike RTDs. After months and months of testing, 4 delicious drinks were born: a classic collection of cocktails, with a slight twist.
When building the type system, we avoided the played-out pseudo-luxurious aesthetics that having become synonymous with cocktails and chose NaN Jaune: a rule-breaking sans-serif in 3 optical sizes that provides the Slight Twist brand with equal doses of flavour, flexibility and fun.
